Facebook Saw Attempts to Influence Delhi Polls With Fake Accounts But Didn’t Disclose Them, Says Ex-Employee

A “politically-sophisticated” network of more than a thousand actors attempted to influence the Delhi elections in February through Facebook, a recently fired Facebook employee said in a memo. The social media giant didn’t disclose the network publicly. However, its former employee noted in the 6,600-word memo that the attempt was taken down silently.
