Facebook Admits User Data was Wrongly Shared to 5,000 Developers, Violating its own Policy

In 2018, Facebook announced that it would automatically prevent an app from getting user data if the user has not used the particular app in the last 90 days. Now, it admitted that user data was being shared with 5,000 developers even after the cutoff.
